Also, if you would like to receive auto-listing alerts on new listings, price changes and sales, be sure to set up an account by saving your search. This is also the only place to search the sold data, most other websites keep that information private. It is important to remember that third party real estate sites like Zillow and Trulia often have very misleading information as they are paid by some real estate agents for per click leads. They are notorious for showing properties that are no longer for sale and the “Zestimates” are never correct. Use my website for the most up-to-date and accurate real estate data.

February picked up a lot of momentum in the market compared to our normally slow January. We have over $20 million in new contracts just from Almont to Mt. Crested Butte and saw $14 million in sales for the month. This is a little bit slower compared to last year as we average almost $30 million in contracts each month. We are heading in to spring break season here which will show another steady increase in contracts. The inventory is continuing to decrease in certain areas and it is getting more competitive for buyers. Make sure you have the right people on your side (like me!) to help you navigate through this ever changing market.
