This is a picture of my Mom and I in 1986 at the warming house at the base area of Crested Butte. I found this the other day and it brought back so many memories! Everyone around town has been stressed with all of the restaurant closures and it made me think about all of the changes that have happened since 1986! I mean just this picture has about 20! What I have to remember is that change is constant and with out change, life would be really boring. Most of the businesses that closed, saw an opportunity and sold at the perfect time! Who wouldn’t do that? I am thrilled for them as they spent 20 years serving us all amazing food. Who knows, maybe the next restaurants will be even better? Glass half full. 🙂
